Personal Statement

Nothing excites and humbles me more than being given the opportunity to help others make a combination of small changes that result in a significantly improved quality of life. Whether it is a teenager that is resistant to their parents / authority figures or a family that needs to hit the reset button, I have found success in assisting clients look at their behaviors and relationships from a new perspective, which has led them to make positive changes.

In addition to working with resistant or acting out teens and adults, improving relationships and family dynamics, and helping people navigate life changes and manage distress and other mood issues, I am also passionate about exercise and motivated on a daily basis to lead an overall healthy lifestyle. I went from having never run a mile to now completing 5k’s, 10k’s, half and full marathons. The journey I have taken has taught me life changing lessons on how to push through difficult times in life, celebrate accomplishments along the way and achieve things I never thought possible. Though it is not my goal to turn all my clients into runners, I have seen the benefits an active lifestyle can have on one’s mental and emotional well-being. If you are feeling like you are ready to make a change, whether it be an athletic/health goal, or mood, behavior, or relationship change, I hope to guide you along that path.
